Carbon Fiber Vinyl FDC Lumina 1025
FDC Lumina 1025 Carbon Fiber vinyl is made from cast PVC and has a thickness of 5 mil. Its surface is textured, similar to what you would find with a weaved cloth, so you can actually feel the weave on the surface (see the texture in the second image)! The weave makes the vinyl feel like fabric. The vinyl can be cut at a deeper blade depth than Oracal vinyl.
This is a wrap vinyl so it can be used on complex curves due to FDC's Air Advantage adhesive technology (i.e., it does not wrinkle or bubble). It is originally meant to be adhered on automotive parts (e.g., stick shift, dashboards, center consoles, etc.), but it is a really nice product to use for crafting purposes too! It is black in color and has an outdoor durability of 5 years.
While we do not advocate for putting any vinyl in the dishwasher, if you chose to do so, you are doing so at your own risk.
This vinyl is perfect and safe to use in commercial vinyl cutters as well as hobby cutters such as the Silhouette Portrait, Silhouette Cameo, Circuit, Craftwell, Sizzix, Pazzles, Silver Bullet, KNK, Quickutz, Graphtec, BossKut, Xyron, Slice and so on. Even if you do not have a vinyl or craft cutter, you can still use an Exacto knife or scissors to cut the vinyl.
