PTFE Teflon Sheet for Heat Presses or Irons
Want to protect your heat transfer vinyl and destination surfaces while heat pressing or using an iron? These Teflon sheets are for you!
Each sheet is composed of high temperature fiberglass sheets and is coated with Teflon (PTFE) on both sides, making it reversible, non-stick (i.e., feels slippery), washable, and very heat-resistant. The sheets are rated for use with temperatures between -140C to 260C (-220F to 500F). Each sheet is PFOA free.
The sheets are also reusable, typically for up to 1000 presses. The sheets come in a variety of sizes but are all 0.13 mm (5.1 mil) thick and light brown in color. You can cut the sheet with scissors or a rotary blade to any size you would like without it fraying.
The heat press and Teflon sheets shown in the second image are for illustration purposes. This listing is for ONE teflon sheet.
Usage if using a Heat Press:
When using a heat press, it is common to place one heat-resistant sheet on the top platen of the heat press and another on top of the article you are pressing your design onto. This will protect the heat press itself, in addition to the article you are pressing. When attaching to a heat press, we recommend using strong magnets (not tape or other adhesives).
Usage if using an Iron:
When using an iron, it is best to place one heat resistant sheet over top of the article you are pressing your design onto. Because the sheets are non-stick, they are a bit slippery so your iron should glide over them nicely.
We are not responsible for injury or harm you may incur, or damage to a product that is incurred, as a result of using these sheets.
