Engineer Grade Retroreflective / Reflective Vinyl Oralite 5500
Oralite 5500 Engineer Grade Reflective vinyl is an alkyd resin film consisting of catadioptric glass beads embedded in a transparent layer of plastic material. It is 4.25 mil thick and is a permanent vinyl with an outdoor durability of 7 years. It is silver in color, however the official Orafol color name is 010 - white. It meets the requirements of MUTCD and the ASTM D 4956 specifications for Type I, Class 1 retroreflective sheeting. It is thus appropriate for traffic control, guidance, warning, and information signs on commercial and fleet vehicles, in addition to normal crafting uses. It will require cutting on an increased blade depth due to its thickness.
This is a great product to use for vehicle decals, mailboxes, house numbers, helmets, hardhats, and so on.

This vinyl is perfect and safe to use in commercial vinyl cutters as well as hobby cutters such as the Silhouette Portrait, Silhouette Cameo, Circuit, Craftwell, Sizzix, Pazzles, Silver Bullet, KNK, Quickutz, Graphtec, BossKut, Xyron, Slice and so on. Even if you do not have a vinyl or craft cutter, you can still use an Exacto knife or scissors to cut the vinyl.
